The service provider photographers are not 'anyone can register'. The service is limited to professional photographers whose main income comes from photography and video work.
TOTTA photographers have passed a screening of their work. All works submitted at the time of registration are reviewed by professional photographers from the Secretariat.
A minimum of three years' work experience as a professional photographer is required. The experience level of each photographer can be found on each photographer's profile page.
One freelance photographer has set up a small photography agency, deltaphoto. The firm is based around web marketing and offers photography and video production services for businesses, with around 1,000 shoot requests per year.
In the course of our daily photography work, we notice that many of our clients have great difficulty in finding professional photographers. This problem was particularly serious in regional cities where there are few photographers. We then came up with the idea of creating a database dedicated to professional photographers who can shoot all over Japan.
A new web service is named TOTTA and commissioned development begins.
Outsourcing the development of web services was extremely challenging and the service was not created as envisioned. We then switched to in-house development.
On 7 July 2022, about six months after the start of in-house development, the professional photographer matching service TOTTA was successfully released.
The search system and other aspects of the photographer search system have been extensively renewed. Search results display pages, photographer profile pages, etc. are now faster.

All TOTTA registered photographers are professional photographers who work as a living.
Professional photographers are concentrated in the Tokyo metropolitan area and Kansai area, where there is a lot of work, so depending on the details of the request, please consider requesting a business trip shooting from an urban area.
If you use the public recruitment function, you can find photographers smoothly.
The details of the request can be made from the project message page if the reservation is confirmed.
Also, it is not possible to make upward revisions to the project after the reservation is confirmed, so please check the message directly if there is additional information or changes.

Cancellations after a reservation has been made will be subject to the cancellation policy, and a cancellation fee will be charged. In the case of bank transfer (prepayment), the difference after deducting the cancellation fee will be refunded by bank transfer at the end of the month following the cancellation month, so it is necessary to register the bank transfer of the remittance destination when the cancellation is confirmed.
